PHUKET: Police arrested a man who sold them drugs valued at 184,000 baht in a Phuket sting yesterday that left a mastermind named ''Mr Tom'' still on the loose.
Arrested was Jiraphat Tanpattanapisal, who met an undercover officer outside Phuket's Tungkha School at 11am then on a motorcycle guided his buyer to a spot in Soi Virat Hogyok, Vichit. There he produced drugs, hidden in a snack bag that appeared to be littering the grassy verge.
An operations team following the pair moved in and arrested Khun Jiraphat. Earlier, Phuket Narcotics Bureau officers had arranged the assignation by taking directly to Mr Tom, who told police he would send someone to the meeting.
Eight bags containing as many as 198 ya bah methamphetamine tablets were confiscated in the raid. Police estimated the value of the drugs at 184,000 baht.

End the fail war on drugs please I think Thailand could take the lead and first start by legalisation of cannabis and put the resources on fighting real crime
