DYLAN BURNKLAN, the 18-year-old son of a Thai and a German, although now an orphan with both his parents dead, has been picked up within weeks for a third offence by Phuket police.
If ever a young man needed a mentor, it's Dylan, who was paraded by officers at Chalong police station yesterday, with two other young men.
Officers arrested Treerayut Deesamut, 18, and Kaiwait Apidecha, 24, on Tuesday. According to police, Khun Treerayut was carrying 70 yah ba pills (methamphetamine) and Khun Kaiwait had 75. When asked where these pills came from, Dylan's name was mentioned.
About 5pm on the same day, officers went to Karon Night Plaza and arrested Dylan. He was, they say, in possession of one gram of yah ice.
Dylan, who has previously been arrested for possession of illegal drugs, then in a later incident for possession of a knife, has previously told police that he bought drugs from an expat dealer in the island's south and on-sold them to bar staff and customers around Karon.
