UPDATE

A FIRE truck that turned up to fight a blaze last night at a shop near the Sam Kong intersection in Phuket City was found to contain no water.
Nearby residents were angry to hear a fireman say the didn't bother to load up with water because they thought it was probably a false alarm. The second fire truck arrived about 11.30pm with water, but by then the Sam Kong CD shop had been destroyed.
