THE BODY of a man was found when it washed up on a Phuket east coast beach today. Police and doctors have yet to determine the cause of his death.
The man appeared to be a Thai, in his 30s or 40s. He was wearing shorts but no shirt.
Local villagers near the Bang Konti beach, near a coastal mosque between Chalong and Rawai, found the man about 9.30am. His body was taken to Vachira Hospital Phuket in Phuket City for a more detailed examination.

These stories seem to be the norm at Phuketwan/in Phuket. Would someone like to explain that? I recall a body washing up a few years ago that was eventually determined to have come from Phi Phi. How long will it take to decide where this body came from?
