PHUKET: A SPECTACULAR blaze razed a row of workers' rooms at a Burmese camp in central Phuket late yesterday. Local fire trucks extinguished the flames at the camp on Srisoonthorn Road, between the Heroine's Monument and Cherng Talay in about 20 minutes. The fire broke out about 5.25pm. No workers were hurt. The Burmese, employed by KA Construction and Design, were accommodated in the remaining three rows of corrugated iron shelters. Firemen attributed the blaze to an electrical fault.
