Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has urged the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the private sector to focus on "quality tourists"

Can we get a definition of quality tourists??....and if the definition is what I think it is...then it appears with all the jet ski and tuk tuk scams etc going on in Phuket, the tourism sector is doing a pretty good job at trying to keep "quality tourists" away from here.

In order to attract quality customers one must offer a quality product. So with all due respect, Mr. PM, it is well past time to start focusing on the multitude of issues that are keeping the quality away.

All tourists are quality tourists.

Perhaps he means "high" quality tourists as opposed to "low" quality tourists.

He's clearly been away from his home country too long and forgotten how to speak in his native tongue.
