A WRONG-WAY motorcyclist caused a collision involving another motorcycle and a pickup today near Chalong Circle.
The mishap occurred when the motorcyclist travelling on the correct side of the road, from Rawai towards the Circle, loomed in front of the wrong-way motorcyclist.
The male rider going the wrong way moved into the path of an oncoming pickup, which sideswiped him into the other motorcycle.
The man on the wrong-way motorcycle had no helmet and no licence.
The motorcyclist going the right way had a helmet and on the back, riding pillion, a passenger carrying a wide-screen television set.
The pickup driver said: ''I was going the right way and suddenly this motorcycle hit me.''
Injuries were superficial, but the damage to the televsion set was severe.
