Update: Samui Crash Copilot, Eight Passengers in Hospital

THAI authorities have named the nine people being kept in hospital overnight after being injured in Tuesday's crash on Samui of a Bangkok Airways flight from Krabi town.

They are four Britons, two Dutch nationals, and women from Switzerland and Italy.

The Thai copilot, last person to be pulled from the aircraft, is probably the most seriously injured.

Abreheam Gzaaf, 42, from the Nertherlands, who has damage to his face;

Lucar Gzaaf, 11, who has a swollen leg;

Both those patients are at the Baan Don Inter Hospital. At Bangkok Samui Hospital are:

Tanawat Pramrudee, 35, the copilot, has broken legs and breathing difficulties.

Nicolas Havel, 39, from Britain, who has two broken legs;

Panteli Pantelis, 39, from Britain, who has two broken legs;

Joyce Gosleng 26, from Britain, who has severe pain in her legs;

Claire Ballantyne, 33, from Britain, who has severe pain in her legs;

Elodie Lacovangelo, 41, from Switzerland, who has broken legs;

Mirella Gastaldi, 39, from Italy, severe pain in both legs.
