PHUKET: A Russian man dropped dead in the foyer of a Phuket resort today.
The man, aged about 40, collapsed about 10.05am and staff at The Cliff in Patong rushed to help.
He was taken across the road to Patong Hospital, directly opposite the resort, where doctors pronounced him dead.
A post-mortem examination is being undertaken to establish a cause of death. Staff believed at the time he had been drinking heavily.
He was staying alone at the resort.
A Russian, drinking heavily? No, surely there must be some mistake...
