More Rain Tipped as Deluge Dumps on Phuket City

Today's Updating report

RAIN deluged Phuket City before 11am today and telephone calls to Patong, Surin and Chalong indicated that residents in those areas expected falls all over Phuket.

The weather bureau forecasts winds of 15 to 30 knots and seas of one to two metres. More rain is predicted in coming days.

Not sure I'd call it a "deluge". Heavy rain for about 45 minutes, and good, since May so far has been much drier than average. Wind is practically zero at the moment. Yesterday it was blowing from the east.
