Another budget airline emerges with the intriguing name 'Scoot' (of Singapore). But how long will many of these last as evidenced by the alarming collapse of many around the world, such as Air Australia (much discussed) & now 'Kingfisher' in India in serious trouble. When you look at the discrepancy in cost of air fares between established airlines & budget carriers, you must begin to wonder whether the public is being ripped off at one end of the scale or the other. Or is it simply a case of "pays your money, takes your chance!"
