PHUKET: A senior policeman based north of Phuket was stabbed to death last night by his angry mistress. Colonel Wannart Maharchate, 50, of Khao Lak Police Station had a lover and Thanyavee Sirirungsun, 40, drove to his home in Takuapa about 11.30pm. His wife and children left while the pair talked. Then Khun Thanyavee grabbed a fruit knife and stabbed Colonel Wannart in the chest. She and neighbors helped drive him to Takuapa Hospital but he died on the way.
