Many tourists simply may have no access to communications, as it is a big problem now in postEQ Nepal, however they most orbs ly at the same time have access to water, food and a kind of shelter that is adequate as a temporary solution.

It will take time to settle all things, at least a week or two, so patience is required.

Few compatriots of mine, who are stuck at Namche Bazaar , where they have access to food - water - good shelter - entertainment - shopping, bombarded the government directly through all holes via media that there are entitled to be lifted by a helicopter that the government should hire for them, also it is apparent that in no aspect their situation is critical, except string will to get off the place. They have just to wait a bit.

Among the unaccounted 1000 could be in similar situation but were not successful with communication as mobile network to big extent doesn't work, but internet is very slow.
