Britain has more delusional drinkers, drug-takers and ''reckless youths'' than any other country in the world, according to a survey. (With many of them over here)!
Only 18 countries participated in the survey and, according to Huffington Post, Ireland had the most with Britain second. 18 countries is hardly a cross sectional data of the world's drinking or drug taking habits. I'd wager you'd find more drug takers and ''reckless youths'' in Thailand.

Gambling is illegal, Pete

Good on Reuters and all that, but I think that the Pulitzer would be better served going to our local reporters who actually broke the Rohingya trafficking story, have stayed with the story, and might very well be imprisoned because of the story.

However, the fact that the story has garnered a Pulitzer prize and all of the international attention that it entails just might move the authorities here to dismiss the ridiculous charges.

Pete, the problem with many surveys is that they are commissioned by people/companies/government bodies etc often with a very restricted scope, in order to achieve a "wanted" goal. 18 countries from 196 is a pretty poor sample. I won't take you up on your wager, as it is illegal to gamble in Thailand, and we all know how strictly laws are applied.
