A MASTERS football tournament is being held on Phuket with teams from eight nations competing over six days.
The competition for players aged 55-plus will attract teams from Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Iran, Taiwan, Armenia, the US and Thailand from May 31 to June 5.
All games will take place at Surakul Stadium in Phuket City. The national teams have been brought together under the auspices of the Senior Footballers' Association of Thailand.
Surakul Stadium is being renovated. If there's a problem meeting the deadline for reconstruction, the tournament will move to Sanamchai, opposite Provincial Hall in Phuket City.
