PHUKET: Danish tourist Jimy Tomson, 39, like Irishman Trevor before him, survived a hard night on Phuket.
Whether Jimy knows Trevor we can't be sure, but they seem to have similar habits.
Jimy was patched up at 3am today by paramedics in Patong. He told them he had been beaten up by three men in Phrabaramee Road, not far from the t-intersection at Patong temple.
Jimy, like Trevor, who was hit with a bottle by another tourist just before Christmas, didn't have a lot to say.
Like Trevor, Jimy was keen not to go to hospital and content to be patched up and on his way.

Why doesn't the CCTV in the "safety zone" ever catch any of these culprits? Or do the cameras only work on tourists and expats?

If Jimy and Trevor haven't complained to police, there would be no reason to look at security camera footage, ChrisT.
