Phuket Spring is Here. Shanghai Airline to Fly Direct to Phuket

Phuket Spring is Here. Shanghai Airline to Fly Direct to Phuket

Friday, May 31, 2013
PHUKET: Spring Airlines - ''don't think just fly'' - is to launch a Phuket-Shanghai-Phuket service three times a week from June 26.

At that point, Phuket travellers will be able to find out for themselves whether the low-cost carrier went ahead with a plan to dress hostesses as French maids and stewards as butlers.

The 180-seat Airbus A320s will depart Phuket each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and return from Shanghai each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Spring began operating a Shanghai-Bangkok-Shanghai service in 2012 and has a reputation for being very competitive on fares.

Leaves around 4am and arrives around 4am and at USD250 I Don't think it will have much Visa Run traffic more like Chinese having a beach holiday.

Does anyone know if EU citizens can get a visa on arrival at PVG ?

Chinese embassies deny this is possible but I have such a visa in my stamp from crossing Hong Kong to Guangzhou 10y ago and heard you can get it at PEK too.

Why not just dress in Chinese Traditional Dress? What is a french maid doing on a Chinese plane anyway, maybe maids should just be servants and clean and butlers just roger the maids.

Obviously I have the visa in my passport, not in my stamp. With advancing years dyslexia seems to make inroads too.

It's Saturday night. jimbo34 and the other miscreants who have sacrificed their powers of thought to ''stimulants'' are going to be providing a few laughs.
