And from now on, Phuket tourists will have to conside this: Sure, the resort might be great. But can the staff drop everything to boogie in the foyer and jive around the forecourt?
Wait staff, chefs and luggage movers from the Moevenpick Resort and Spa Karon Beach Phuket have strutted their stuff with more than 11 minutes of video fun on YouTube that would make Korean crazemeister Psy green with envy.
The question is, can any Phuket resort match it or do even better? Can any group on Phuket match it or do even better?
With the aircraft carrier USS John C Stennis and its fun-loving crew due off Phuket on October 7 for liberty leave, it's highly likely that more Gangnam Style dancing will be happening soon.
Phuketwan sounded out the Royal Thai Navy, looking for a dance-off, but the boys from the Cape Panwa base on Phuket are happy to rest on the laurels of their first astonishing video.
If the sailors on USS John C Stennis are up for it, perhaps there's a Phuket resort or a Phuket beach club that would take up the challenge to clear some space for a Phuket dance challenge, Gangnam Style.
