PHUKET police have accused a Thai woman of supplying tourists with cocaine from a bar in Karon and would now also like to question her expat husband.
Tassanee Pom-Ayo, 57, was arrested at the Kamalao Bar in Taina Road Karon about 12.30am on Saturday, said Lieutenant Colonel Jarun Bangprasert, of Chalong Police Station.
A sting operation by plain-clothes police saw a ''customer'' hand over 10,000 baht in exchange for two grams of cocaine, the lieutenant colonel said.
After being placed under arrest, police found another gram of cocaine in Khun Tassanee's brassiere, he said. She also had 100,000 in cash.
A search of the premises produced a set of scales and small plastic bags, convincing officers that the bar was a place where people came to buy cocaine, and that Khun Tassanee was ''a substantial agent.''
Khun Tassanee was due to appear in court yesterday.
