PHUKET: An expat visitor to Phuket's nightlife hotspot, Soi Bangla in Patong, was walking down the notorious street with a bar hostess last night when the strangest thing happened.

A ladyboy katoey emerged from the edge of the street and offered the expat a good time. The bar hostess took exception to this, and the hostess and the ladyboy engaged in a spat in the middle of the walking street.

Police were called and the participants were taken to Kathu Police Station, where all three were told to calm down.

In the end, the expat visitor chose to continue his night on the town with the ladyboy.

Graham- at what point did I say I was attached to them? All I pointed out was each to their own. I am sorry that you are so insecure in your own sexuality that you feel the need to mock those who are!! FYI I do not take a walk on the wild side but am not overly critical of those who do. Still waiting for you to elucidate as to why HE chose badly!

Yes, I agree with Emubob.. this is one of the worst articles I have ever seen. With everything going on in Phuket, prostitutes fighting over Johns is hardly news! Alan quite obviously has a fetish for all things that are homosexual, I remember the article about a "Gay Murder".

It seams to me that you have all lost the plot.J ust remember that Budda says there are three sexes. Some of these he/shes can not help what they are and many are not homo as you suggest, many have been born with the extra chromasome and therefor are XXY. I was born with this extra gene and although I consider myself straight, and certainly have no desire to be with a man, I have no problem with my sexuality unlike a lot of you. Read up on Klinefelters before you make your rash judgements.
