PHUKET: Police are hunting a man who stabbed to death a former friend after a fist fight went wrong in Phuket's west coast tourist hub of Patong early yesterday.
Knifed to death in the street outside the Royal Paradise was Somkid Jandawong, 27.
Officers from Kathu Police Station, which oversees Patong, said Khun Somkid had been drinking with friends when he and one friend got into a dispute about 3.10am.
After they scuffled, the friend pulled a knife and stabbed Khun Somkid, who is out of work.
The suspect vanished quickly. He was wearing a black shirt, black jeans and white shoes.
The man's body was taken to Patong Hospital.
