PHUKET: A man wanted for allegedly attacking an Italian expat with a golf club in Patong earlier this month has fled Phuket, police say.
Two Italian men who suffered injuries in the early morning Soi Bangla incident are among just four expat victims of crimes listed by Phuket police in the three months since Phuket's honorary consuls last met with Phuket Governor Tri Augkaradacha.
One of the cases - involving an Australian - dates back to April. Phuket police have listed 27 expats they say have been victims of crime on Phuket so far this year.
A second list names 156 expats who have been arrested on Phuket so far in 2011. Most of the charges involve misdemeanors, with drinking and driving accounting for a substantial proportion of the cases.
The list is of people arrested by Phuket police. Outcomes of the cases are not revealed.
Both lists will be presented by Phuket Police Commander Major General Pekad Tantipong to Phuket's honorary consuls when they meet Phuket Governor Tri Augkaradacha and leading Phuket officials today.

Poor Mr. Weekes, who was robbed every day from 5-16 April. He was either incredibly unlucky, or he used a tuk-tuk daily as his chief means of transportation.
