A WELL-KNOWN Australian expat with business connections on Phuket is being held in Phuket Prison on charges relating to the possession of the illegal methamphetamine drug, yah ice.
He is Brendon Walters, 41, a resident of Phuket for several years.
Officers from Cherng Talay Police Station arrested Mr Walters at his Phuket home, where they say they found the yah ice, on March 21.
