PHUKET: Police are hunting a man who robbed a 7-Eleven store of 20,000 baht at gunpoint early today.
The man, dressed in a full-face motorcycle helmet and a long-sleeved black jacket, short jeans and flip-flops, pointed the gun at a male and female cashier before taking the cash.
A security camera captured his movements. The raid took place at a store in Soi ChaoFa, off Chao Fa Road West in the Chalong area, about 2.30am.
The robber, reckoned to be about 25 to 30 years of age, rode off towards Phuket City, said Lieutenant Wuittiwat Liangboonjinda. Chalong police are continuing their investigation.
