The survivor helps police to carry out the reenactment today

Phuket Double Killing: Suspects Reenact Execution

Friday, June 3, 2011
Phuketwan Updating Report

PHUKET: POLICE were reenacting a dramatic execution-murder this afternoon after making two arrests in the killings of a man and a woman whose bodies were found on a quiet coastal Phuket road this week.

The arrests - and confessions - removed doubts about the version of events related by the sole survivor of the shootings, who told police that powerful amulets had enabled him to play dead and escape becoming the killers' third victim.

The three were dumped down a steep slope between Nai Thon and Layan on Phuket's west coast, leaving the man who played dead to scramble to safety in the dark and alert police.
