PHUKET: The Thai Diving Association and the Tourism Authority of Thailand are linking up for a three-day exhibition and seminar on marine environment conservation next month.
The Save the Nature@Phuket event, to be detailed at a media conference next Monday, with centre on the Phuket Aquarium from October 28-30.
Experts from the Phuket Marine Biological Centre will be involved on topics such as coral bleaching and sustainability.
An exhibition with up to 40 booths from companies connected with diving will be held for the three days.
Friday October 28 will be marked by a seminar in Thai and English on conservation tourism for students, divers and dive masters.
Phuket Governor Tri Augkaradacha is expected to open the event.
On October 29, a voluntary garbage cleanup will take place around Chalong Bay and Coral Island, with as many as 40 volunteer divers at all standards expected to be involved.
On October 30, the exhibition will continue at the Phuket Aquarium.

The Exhibition seminar in Thai and English on conservation tourism for students, divers and divemasters from Friday 28 until Sunday 30 October 2011, will be great if all Phuket Universities and Schools bring those students to Phuket Aquarium to participate to the event and sent them to beach-clean-up during that 3 days.
