On his Facebook page he named six other addresses where he claims gambling is taking place on Phuket.
Gambling on Phuket was growing ''worse and worse,'' said the gone-straight former massage parlor proprietor.
The gambling joint raided near Phuket's Kathu council school by Tungthong police about 7.20pm last night was fairly small. Widespread rumor has it there is now at least one large casino in Patong.
The gambling dens named by Khun Chuwit were in Chalong, Kuku (in Phuket City) near the Two Sisters Monument (in Thalang) and near Phuket International Airport, with two more in Phuket Town.
Phuketwan has chosen not to name these places because in the past, Khun Chuwit has named premises on Phuket where police raids have produced no evidence.
At the Kathu gambling den last night, police found punters placing a dice game. All 11 were fined 500 baht.
If the fine is a measly 500 baht, doesn't this mean the crime is minor?
Also does this mean its a civil law not a criminal law? Under criminal law, you don't just pay fines, you go to prison.
So what is Chuvit's reasoning if the crime is petty, like driving without a seatbelt.
