Phuket Crowd Lifts Thailand to 2-1 Victory

THAILAND beat Lebanon 2-1 tonight, setting up another great game for The King's Cup final on Phuket on Friday night.

Surakul Stadium in Phuket City was packed with more than 10,000 fans for tonight's fiery match, and just as many or perhaps even a few more can be expected for the final.

Thailand will meet Denmark, which tipped North Korea 1-0.

The crowd had a great time supporting the red, white and blue, with typical Phuket touches, as you can see in our Photo Album.

The match produced some brawls and plenty of excitement.

Deputy Prime Minister Sanan Kajonprasat and Governor Dr Preecha Ruangjan may not have done the Mexican wave or shouted at the appropriate moment, but just about everybody in the stadium did.
