PHUKET: The body of a man wearing a full wetsuit and flippers washed ashore at Phuket's Karon beach today.
He was named by police as Oleg Udaloi, 44, a Russian tourist who had been missing since Friday, according to officers.
The man had been staying at a hillside resort in Karon with his wife.
On Friday, the pair hired a longtail and went spearfishing off Boo island, a well-known landmark visible from Karon and Kata beaches.
The woman told police that her husband went underwater several times and speared several fish. When he went down for the sixth time, he failed to surface.
She sounded the alarm.
Pushed by the current, his body was spotted close to the shore in Karon about 8am and brought in by rescue workers.
The body was taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital in Phuket City.

Passed by Karon today and i did not notice that they had got a new hillside like Kamala... or i'm just that wrong ? :)
