PHUKET: There are not many days on Phuket when Phuketwan's photographer comes back to the office with hundreds of shots and a smile on his face. But yesterday was such a day.
It was the day when the 20 Miss Thailand World 2013 contestants paraded in bikinis on the beach at Phuket's east coast Cape Panwa.
The sun was shining, the contestants were smiling, and the world in Phuket, Thailand, seemed a much, much brighter place.
The contestants are leaving Phuket and the Cape Panwa Resort for Burma to promote Thai culture but they will be back by April 9 for the final round of the Miss Thailand World pageant in Bangkok.

It's rather like seeing ads for cosmetics, hair dyes, stick-on eyelashes, nose jobs and other cosmetic surgery all rolled into the one shoot. Bikini testing!! Is that something new? Sorry, I can't say a bevy of beauties but younger readers would perhaps have a different opinion.
