FOUR vendors were arrested yesterday when police in Patong swooped on stalls where copy watches were being sold off Rat-U-Tit 200 Pi Road, the main road that runs parallel to beach road.

While tourists often enjoy buying copy watches and other items at low prices on Phuket holidays, their sale is illegal. Among the brands in the one million baht haul nabbed by police about 5.30pm yesterday evening were the brands Rolex, Omega and Bulgari.
