Peter Jensen with Immigration detectives after his arrest

Expat Dane Arrested on Phuket Wanted on Interpol Warrant

PHUKET: A Danish expat arrested on Phuket was wanted on an international arrest warrant, Immigration officers discovered early today.

Peter Jensen, 48, was apprehended at Phuket's eastern Paklok district as he was about to have supper at the Waria Restaurant about 12.30am.

Officers checked his passport and discovered his visa expired on October 28.

He had arrived in Thailand via Bangkok on August 31 two years ago.

Interpol had a listing for his arrest. Mr Jensen was being questioned at Immigration HQ in Phuket City today.

I feel sorry for his staff who have not been paid since the beginning of this year, also the people he duped in his property developments. No recourse now in either labour court or civil court.
