Thai censorship on immortality does non include women getting slapped and or raped on Thai soap operas. Sure there is no nudity but...

Immortality? Immorality I think you mean which is a laugh, as lying is a national pastime. I guess I shouldn't apply my subjective judgements however I can't help but feel the culture is more concerned with appearances than substance.

Horse Doctor, I assume you are talking about ''the'' culture. Hollywood, advertising, Wall Street . . . never was a culture so consumed by appearances and deception. Celebrity, serial killers, corruption on a massive scale . . . appearances, but seldom substance.
