The wheel of the Bangkok flight in the surface at Had Yai airport today

Aircraft Wheel Sinks Into Soft Surface at Thai Airport

Saturday, May 2, 2015
PHUKET: About 100 Lion Air passengers were delayed for an hour at Had Yai airport in Songkhla province today when a wheel of the SL8531 flight to Don Muang sank into a soft surface as it was being towed into position for takeoff. The airport director said the tow vehicle had missed the hard-surface path.

No wonder other Asian countries want Thailand to clean up their 'air industry acts'. Even towing a aircraft on a Thai airport now seems to become difficult. Not very promising.

The guy in the white tshirt in first photo, excellent PPE he is not wearing and not overlooking the sandals. So missed hard surface, wrong clothing for airside safety. Very sloppy, maybe another ICAO visit.
