The event highlight for landlubbers who lub music will be the ''Dancing in the Moonlight'' event on Karon beach on Wednesday, December 2.
Among the headliners for the Phuket full moon party will be leading Thai bands and international DJs. Organisers expect up to 15,000 to dance on the sand.
A quality royplay of the highly successful Roy Fest should attract many people who would not necessarily ever be awake early enough to watch the yachts compete off Kata beach in daylight.
