Three Women Held on Phuket Over Sales of Kratom Leaves

PHUKET: Three women were arrested about 5pm yesterday in the Kor Kaew district of Phuket City. Police also seized 29 kilos of kratom leaves, which the three women were allegedly selling to Thai and Burmese workers on building sites. Arrested were Prajin Manuni, 49, Preda Thaikerd, 31, and Rattanawadee Thaworn, 22.
