Police Pickup North of Phuket Crashes With Motorcycle, Two Hurt

PHUKET: Wet weather triggered a series of crashes on Phuket and Phang Nga roads yesterday, with the province north of the island struck by collisions that left vehicles and people damaged between 1.31pm and 7.44pm. At 6.05pm a police pickup from Taladyai struck a motorcycle in Thai Muang, injuring two people from the bike.

The rain didn't trigger the accidents, the idiotic driving did.
The lack of fore-thought and being oblivious to the fact that roads become slippery when it rains.
Combined with negligible driver education, ignorance and the complete omission of common sense is what causes these and numerous other crashes, rain or shine.
