What does that means in Thailand, to be transferred to a 'inactive post'?
Is the thai government official than sitting home and wait for re-positioning?
Or wait for arrest warrant and trial?
Is he still receiving salary and building up pension emoluments during his inactive post time?

'bangkokpost.com Some 32 police officers from three major units have been transferred en masse." Thailand is going to have to forward to recognised as a country with morals, principals and laws.
Sending proven criminals to an inactive post, smacks of a blatant desire to not accept any responsibility nor carry out any laws. In other ASEAN countries, these suspected traffickers would be thrown in jail immediately, have their cases hear and be summarily charged for their offenses and jailed accordingly.
Not so in Thailand.
Someone wrote the other day day on a comment here, Thailand, a sunny paradise for shady people . . . so true.
Start using the law, or the country will loose more than it's face.
