Well I get the impression the army has, if not chosen a side, certainly shown the side they dislike the most (the ones overwhelmingly elected to power time and time again by the Thai people). Declaration of bias: Tony Benn is the only living politician I have any respect for (there may be deserving others that I am unaware of).
