Phuket World of Sport missing Bayern Munichs polish striker Lewandowski feat of striking (as a half time replacement) 5 times in 9 minutes against a title rival in the Bundesliga. The fastest hat trick (3min). The first quintuple by a replacement. No penalty, no standards, all in the play. The last one with a side fall kick from 16m. Incredible performance. His coach Guardiola astonished, only teammate Lahm later (jokingly) complained Lew sucked on two more chances to take away 7 goals. Felt like the BRA:GER 1:7 trashing last year. That was newsworthy, even for lame english soccer centered Phuketwan.

Indeed, and only a substitute.

The Verge skillfully deconstructed Volkswagen Board statemnet on CEO resignation in regard of emission fraud, and that in one aspect fabuliously resonates with recent refernce to local enforcement agency officers facing same-same "full consequnces" in part of their wrongdoing about human trafficking:

"3. "All participants in these proceedings that has resulted in unmeasurable harm for Volkswagen, will be subject to the full consequences."

Full Consequences sounds like a Jean-Claude Van Damme movie. (Actually, it might be?) In reality, this seems to be a euphemism for termination of employment. Inasmuch that the world's justice departments are interested in prosecuting individual employees - which they may be - "full consequences" could also mean prison time."

Sue,

what are the three most popular cars in US? Fat, gas burning SUV, outdated technique but popular. Volkswagen is stupid to not use 200 ??? more expansive filter technology per each car, as for ex. BMW with its X5 Diesel does. But even without the VW Diesel engine is far more ecologically feasible then the cars sold by the millions in the US. It is still incomprehensible why they would built in a cheat code.

And to the full consequences: that means managers responsible will be facing trials for fraud and damaging VW and will likely become personally liable to VW with all their assets and wealth. And if convicted after prosecution even for 30 years in the future. That means full consequences.

Compare that to what has happened to the Deep Water Horizon people. But then again it is German Volkswagen and not the well connected oil industry in US.
