A HOLIDAY bus laden with tourists crashed as it neared Bangkok from Pattaya today, killing the driver and an expat woman aged about 50, Thai media reports.
Another 27 people who were on the bus, many of them expats, were injured - six seriously - when the bus ploughed into a concrete median divider on the capital's outskirts, according to Thai-language outlets.
First reports said the crash came about 9.30am. The woman, an expat aged about 50, was sitting in the seat directly behind the driver.
Today marked the first day of a five-day extended public holiday.
