PHUKET: Former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has gone on Facebook to thank people for their interest and support in the turbulent past week.
Khun Yingluck was held in custody for a time by the coup command after the military took over on May 22.
Today she posted a photograph of herself with her son Supasek Amornsak, or ''Nong Pipe''.
Khun Yingluck wrote: ''The past week was a period when many changes took place in our country.
''Many of you have expressed concern and asked what I have been doing. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your messages via Facebook and other channels.
''Thank you again for the support and concern. I would also like to give all Thais my moral support.''
