PHUKET: Marine biologists who carried out an autopsy on a Cuvier's Beaked Whale, trapped by surf in shallow waters in Trang province south of Phuket, believe it died of disease. No food or obstructions were found in its stomach but parasite worms were evident in the creature's liver and kidneys. The male measured 4.5 metres and weighed 600 kilos. Locals helped pull the whale back out to sea but it perished.
May Marine biologists sell the dead whale meat to greedy Japanese to save alive whales.
