Phuket's Trickeye Museum Puts Fans in The Picture

Wednesday, October 9, 2013
PHUKET: A wet-weather alternative has just opened in Phuket City. The Trickeye Museum offers visitors the chance to immerse themselves in 3D images for some fun photographs. Until October 15, the special price for Thais is 150 baht for adults and 100 baht for children. Standard price is 250 baht for adults and 150 baht for children, with non-Thais being asked to pay 500 baht and 250 baht. It's open between 9am and 9pm alongside the Pearl Hotel, in Montri Road.

Racism in action.

Editor Comment:

If you are going to criticise, gee, please criticise accurately. What you mean is ''discrimination.'' A two price system is not ''racism.'' It's based on nationality - Thai and non-Thai - not race. Koreans, Chinese and Japanese visitors are charged the same as Europeans. Not much point in criticising what you don't understand.

I understand perfectly well thank you for your concern. I run a business and charge anybody who is a different colour to me 3 times the price. Racist - abusive behavior to members of another race.

Editor Comment:

This is clearly something you have trouble understanding, gee. Color is not a factor in double-pricing Nor is race. Perhaps you have yet to notice but British, Americans, Australians and people from many other countries have all kinds of backgrounds and skin tones these days. So for that matter do Thais. This is nothing to do with race or racism. The only colors that matter in a double-pricing system are the color of your passport and the color of your money.

Go with your Thai girlfriend/boyfriend & you might get a discount, especially if you try to speak a little Thai on arrival. Works in my experience.

Any place or attraction that has two tier pricing is off my visitation limits. I don't care who or what you are, thai license discount or not. YOU do not get my recommendation for visitation, ever. There are now four places I will not suggest nor visit.
Keep yur two tier pricing but don't call me to visit, yes even Siam Narimit calling me for free tickets now. I will not recommend you nor go.
