THERE was more whistle-blowing that in a full week of WikiLeaks as FC Phuket drew 1-1 last night in a stinging game at home in Phuket City.

Stretcher bearers were more active on the ground than some of Rajracha Thailand FC's players, who took dives even when there were no Phuket opponents anywhere near them.

In a torrid second half that brought pushing and shoving and a red card from the ref, the Rajracha goalkeeper went down twice and needed medical attention once for a sore hand and the second time for a sore back.

Surakul Stadium, the Hulk's Phuket City home ground, attracted about 2000 fans for their first outing at home in Division One. After Phuket scored in the first half (Adama, 37 mins) and continued to dominate in attack, it seemed as though the Hulks were heading for their first Division One following a first-round draw.

But Rajracha scored to ignite the drum-beaters and the ''Nah nahnah nah nah'' chanters, providing 30 minutes of sensational football that was more about what players were doing with their hands and mouths than their feet.

The opposition goalie drew a yellow card - one of five for the night - following the ref's red card reduction of Raracha to 10 men.

After one mid-air clash in the second half, there were more bodies on their backs at Surakul than in Soi Bangla.

Try as they might, with some superb attacks, FC Phuket couldn't quite seal their first Division One victory.
