The 145 kilometre route is designed to take entrants to some of the more remote areas of Phuket but all on tarmac roads. It is not a race but a social event that will test the navigational and timekeeping skills of the crews.
To ensure entrants stay strictly on the route the organisers require proof of passage in the form of photographic evidence of places or buildings to be passed.
Entries will be restricted to a maximum of forty vehicles with GOMS members and friends making up the majority of the starting list.
The rally is another example of a GOMS event to raise money to support the many charitable causes in the local community the Society is associated with.
Currently Phuket GOMS has over 130 expat and Thai members of many different nationalities residing on Phuket.

Excellent idea, having fun, discovering the island and raising money for charity. Does it get any better than this?
