IT'S EASY to find misprints in the menus at Phuket restaurants, not that the Phuket Post or any other news magazine can actually say they're without blemish.

But we really liked this page from the menu at the Small Viewpoint Bar on the hill road about Kata Noi.

And when someone says "That's rich" are they really distinguishing the taste from poor or even the well-to-do?

Over the years the Small Viewpoint Bar and its companion in cliff-hanging, the After Beach Bar, have become a bit like Bill Murray's groundhog.

If there's an extension planned out over the treetops, the next high season is likely to be a good one. We are happy to reveal that Yes, as if by magic, the two once-small bars that have tacked on extension after extension over the years are growing new parts.
