I do think that such a story has to be covered and that your two pieces did it about as well as it could be done. I've yet to see it mentioned in any othe "mainstream" source. Good work.

Phuketwan accurately reported the story at 10am. Confirmation that it was a hoax, as we suspected, came seven or eight hours later.
He has been dead for months, if not years. Why do you think he didn't come back to Thailand?

Now that the Post and Nation are on it, Oak's response is pretty good. His aunties will not have to contend in Chiang Mai or elsewhere as the man himself is back!
