another good example of good thai driving, the carnage continues

Editor Comment:

I seem to recall that fatal bus crashes happen everywhere, even in Europe.

gravatar

yes they do , but not as many as happens in thailand, as most bus drivers and truck drivers are given proper training.there is no training given here and that is why 26,000 die each year on thai roads.training will go a long way to save lives, not hard to put into place. thailand can half the number of accidents just through some training. its time to stop people dieing for no reason ,for the life of me i dont know how any goverment can be happy with the amount of road kills in this country. is madness

Ed, the number of crashes in Europe is a tiny fraction of the number here. Are you saying you support slack if any testing of the mechanics of buses, unlicensed drivers, poor roads, no speed limiters fitted, no tach (max time a driver can drive) The amount of deaths here is not purely down to money a lot of Thai transport companies are making excellent money even by European standards. O I forgot in Europe if the drivers runs away from an accident you get punished, here once you are sobered up from drink or drugs or both you check yourself in to a Police station and are told you are a good person for surrendering. Hey as TOT (Tourism of Thailand) says "Amazing Thailand"
