Posted by Mister Ree on October 3, 2010 16:37 How drunk was the driver? Or was she too cute for the local authorities to care? Posted by peter rawai on October 4, 2010 20:13 Editor Comment: It may seem preposterous to you, peter rawai, but some groups of young people enjoy nightclubs without drinking. Others even appoint a designated driver to remain sober for the evening. We don't have any indication as to whether or not the driver had been drinking. Assuming the worst about everyone is not something fair-minded people do. Why splash your suspicions online without evidence? I know that stretch of road. Maybe I was ASS-U-ME-ing the worst (Groucho Marx, forgive me!). Then we simply have another unworthy driver on the roads of Phuket. The story did not say anything about negligence, etc. or otherwise from the police. A simple case of the blind (driving instructor) teaching the blind, if I understand your argument?
